Influenster's Tasty VoxBox
*I received these products free for sampling purposes!*
I was glad when I found out I'll be receiving a new VoxBox to test! I was excited that it was a food one! Majority of these products are things I have not tried yet.
The items included are:
● Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce: I was in need of a hot sauce and I'm glad I got Frank's RedHot. It is the perfect amount of spiciness and it adds the right kick to my food.
● French's Crispy Jalapeños: This adds a good crunch to your food and some spicy flavor as well! This is even good to pop into your mouth just because too!
● Yogi Tea: I received two tea bag packets. Cinnamon Berry Probiotic Balance and Green Tea Kombucha!
● Kashi GOLEAN Dark Cocoa Power Plant-Powered Shake: Super excited to try this out! You can add this to your shakes or simply add it to water or milk.
● Splenda Naturals Stevia Sweetener: I received two packets of the sweetener. I don't use sweetener so, I'm not sure if I'll be testing this out.
● SMARTMADE Coupon: I could pick any one weight watchers smart ones item from this coupon!
● Country Crock Buttery Spread Coupon: I could get one free country crock spread 15 oz, 45 oz or sticks!
I wish there were snacks ready to eat like cookies or chips. Overall, pretty neat VoxBox! Thank you Influenster!

My Beauty Favorites
Here are my must have beauty products!
First product I mentioned was the Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel. I started using this about 2 years ago and I've used this everyday since. It's versatile, so you can use this on your body, face and even hair. I mainly use it on my face before I apply makeup, after I remove my makeup, after I wash my face or shower. It really helps keep my skin feeling fresh and moisturized. The product is super lightweight. It's not thick nor sticky.
Next, I mentioned the Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist. This is something I use when I want to quickly apply some moisture on my face. It's so fun to use too.
Garnier Micellar Water works so great! I love using it to remove my lip products. It doesn't stain the areas around my lips when I remove it. It's gentle and works well with sensitive skin. It doesn't dry out my skin after using or sting afterwards either.
Bath and Body Works body spray in Paris Amour. I love the smell of this spray. Super affordable with a scent that smells like it's from an expensive brand. I know this is an old design, but it always takes me forever to finish a body spray. It only takes a few sprays to get myself smelling great.
Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. This was the first high end palette I purchased. I love using the eyeshadow W.O.S. I use a definer brush and apply it under my brows/ on my brow bone. It helps define my brows a little bit more and blend my eyeshadow. It is kind of like using a concealer, but I like to use this instead.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in London. The formula for this is so rich and creamy. It applies smoothly and super long lasting. I love this shade in London. It's a good nude and wearable color to wear everyday.
Colourpop Lippie Stix in Brink. This as well is a wearable everyday color. It's a my lips but better color for me. Very long lasting with a creamy smooth formula. It also smells great!
NYX Micro Brow. This is so affordable and it's a great dupe for high end brands. The thin tip helps keep my brows defined. Easy to blend and apply.
Maybelline Line Stiletto eyeliner. Love this eyeliner! It has a felt tip that is flexible to make easy to create winged or cat eye looks. It's long lasting and easy to use.
Maybelline FitMe foundation. I was always afraid to try out liquid foundations because I didn't know what to try. I've used the FitMe pressed powder and the stick foundation, but those made my skin look dry and it didn't look smooth. I got the dewy+smooth foundation and it works so well for me. It really does make my skin look smooth and it coverage is just right.
Honorable mentions: Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. I got the shade in light bronzer. I was trying to go for the shade in bronzer, but I can never find it at the stores. The smell is really nice, like cocoa butter, but when you apply it, it doesn't smell on your face. It's not glittery or shimmery. It goes on so natural. It doesn't make your skin look orange, it's the perfect shade.

What's In My School Backpack?
This is finally my last year of college! I'm a total super senior.
I was busy with summer school and now it is fall semester. I didn't know what kind of video to film, but I thought it was appropriate to do a what's in my backpack video. Since it's been a month since the semester started, I wanted to share what I usually carry in my backpack. It's pretty much what an average college student brings.
I use a backpack from Herschel. I got this around three years ago and it's still holding up pretty well. Even though the backpack isn't that big, I can surprisingly hold plenty of things inside.
I use a Macbook Pro 15-inch and it fits inside my backpack well. I don't bring it to school often, but this semester I have been since I have many group assignments, projects and a big gap time in between my classes.
Of course, I need to have a folder and notebooks for class. I bring my wallet from Steve Madden, I showed it in my What's In My Bag? video before. A makeup bag from Ulta. Inside is a mirror, the lipstick of the day, hand sanitizer, and whatever else I need. I try not to bring a lot because I find it not necessary. And I bring a pencil pouch. I got this pencil pouch way back in elementary school. Do you remember when the library held book fairs and they would have such awesome things!? I'd buy a bunch of supplies from there :p
I don't like purchasing food from campus often, so I bring my own food or snacks. I usually bring my lunch in a black bag I got from a school event, which I didn't have in the video, or I just bring a little snack like a granola bar.
Having water is essential at school. Especially since it's been so hot and I'm walking around campus and to where I parked (don't get me started on my school's parking -_-), I gotta make sure to stay hydrated. I use a water bottle from contigo. I use a 24 oz or a 32 oz bottle. I want to try out the Hydro Flask though. It seems so cool!

Dove Refresh+Care Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo
When I first sprayed it on my hair, I liked how light it was. It doesn't make my hair feel like there's anything in it. It smells really nice and it seems like I just washed my hair. I have thin hair, so it doesn't take much sprays to work it in. I know washing my hair all the time isn't good, so having this helps whenever my hair gets oily and whenever I need to go out for errands and my hair isn't looking the best, a few sprays of this will do the trick making me feel better about my hair.

KaePop - Karrueche Tran x Colourpop Ultra Matte Lipstick & Highlight Swatches
I'm such a sucker for Colourpop and I had to make sure I get some of Karrueche Tran's collaboration items! You know, gotta support my Vietnamese sista!
I got the Kae ultra matte lipstick and the Glo Up highlighter at first and a little later I needed to get Rooch and Chi too. I love how each of the three lipstick shades are different and I think it can look good on anyone.
Even though Glo Up is a highlighter, I use it as a bronzer since the color doesn't suit my skin tone as a highlighter. I also use it as an eye shadow. I just love the formula Colourpop uses for their shadows and highlighters. It's super creamy and pigmented. I think it's better off using your fingers to apply rather than a brush since a brush doesn't pick up much of the product.
If you haven't tried Colourpop yet, what are you doing? Great quality and fast shipping. Love these products!

Spicy Ramen Challenge (불닭볶음면)
Ok, dis fire.
I've been wanting to try out this ramen since I'm a huge lover of ramen. I enjoy spicy foods and I couldn't wait to try this out! It's the Samyang Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen (불닭볶음면). My friend, Katrina, wanted to try this with me. I was scared for her since I know she cannot eat spicy at all, but I was curious to see how she would do.
So these noodles are to be eaten without the broth. It comes with the spicy sauce packet and a packet with nori strips and sesame seeds to garnish. After the first bite, you could already feel the heat! It's very spicy, but you can also taste how very flavorful and delicious it is too! I was determined to finish no matter how long I took. Katrina and I didn't have any rules, so we drank beverages when we needed to. Soda wasn't a good choice though...Nonetheless, I finished and my mouth felt like it was on fire! I said I wouldn't want to try this again, but I feel like I should do it again but next time without drinking anything or else I give up. Maybe...I might.

First off, the Always Radiant with FlexFoam pads are amazing. They make having my period less dreading. The pads are super light and keeps you dry. It can last pretty long too! I'll definitely be purchasing these to keep using.
Second, the Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Hydrating Toner. I was excited to try out this toner, since I wasn't too crazy about using toners often, so maybe this would be the chance to but, I don't think this is for me. It's just the scent that I can't handle. The smell of it makes me not want to use it, though it is really gentle on the skin, I cannot say much more about it.
Next, SinfulColors nail polishes brand are some of the polishes I already own, so I was stoked to get one to test. The color I received, We're All Matte Here, is super pretty to wear. I'm loving the matte since it dries pretty quickly compare to the normal finishes.
The last thing I can input some words on is the Downy Fresh In-Wash Odor Defense. I received three (3) packets of these and I'm glad I did. These make doing laundry fun since it's like dropping little beads into the washing machine. I've never used something like this before and I really love using this to wash my clothes or sheets because the scent it gives is really long lasting and super fragrant.

These lipsticks are really easy to apply and has a smooth formula. Whenever I feel like popping on something quick to add some color to my lips, these lipsticks are great to go to. I would recommend these lipsticks especially to those who are just starting off trying out lipstick!

What's In My Bag?
What's in my bag?? First, my bag is from Michael Kors. Shout out to my big sister, Tuyen, for giving it to me! I was in a need of a "lady purse" and designer bag then voila, my sister came through! It's her old bag, but it's new to me :) Sorry, I didn't show off the bag more, but I love how there's two ways I can hold the bag. There's a long strap that I can wear on my shoulder or use it as a cross-body and there's a chain and strap to wear on my arm and even on my shoulder.

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick Swatches
I did my first lipstick swatch video on NYX's Liquid Suede Cream Lipsticks. These lipsticks are so comfortable. The formula is rich, creamy and build-able as well as long lasting. The price for these lipsticks are affordable at $6.99/$7.00 each. I'm loving all the shades that I own with Soft-spoken being my favorite! Soft-spoken is very wearable and suitable for any of my looks. This lipstick collection has a lot bold colors such as purples, oranges and blues. Although, those shades are so gorgeous, they are too bold for me to rock. With a quality product at a fair price, make sure to give these a try!

Hello! I thought using blogspot would be more simple and clean to use for my youtube, blogging and other related activities, so here I am using this again! I had posted my videos onto my Tumblr account and thought of using that as for my blog, but I also reblog music, photos, etc., and I didn't want all those to get mixed up together.
Here is my short introduction video. I want to try and get into making YouTube videos such as make-up, food, vlogs and anything possible. I don't want to limit my channel to just beauty or just this or that. I know I'm not that great at making and editing videos nor do I have the best quality equipment to do so, but I know it's a progress and hopefully some day my work and content will be recognized and enjoyed all around.
